I was SO thrilled to be able to be the photographer for my friend, Steph, at her beautuful wedding luncheon at Clarion Gardens! Steph was my freshman roommate at BYU, and she got me through so many tough times! We got along so well, we had so much fun together, and I just feel like I won the roommate jackpot with this girl! Some of my fondenst memories of our freshman year at BYU were our late-night talks and early-morning temple trips (we didn’t get much sleep…).
I took engagement photos for Steph and Matt a couple of months ago, and plans for their wedding were very tentative with all the crazy times we have had! Despite these uncertain times, there was one certain thing: these two love each other so much! That is CLEARLY evident anytime that I have been around them! They are so good together, and I am so happy for them!
They were able to get sealed in the Payson, Utah temple before the luncheon, but with the restrictions put in place I was not able to meet them there, and instead met them at Clarion Gardens for their luncheon.
Steph’s family came out from Ohio, where they have their own maple tree farm and make their own maple syrup. So, for her wedding, Steph’s dad flew out with a suitcase full of these little individual syrup bottles. He said that he got a lot of weird looks in security, but let me just say… It was worth it! The syrup was SO GOOD! It paired perfectly with the delicious french toast and other brunch fixings from the wonderful Clarion Gardens. I am always so impressed with their delicious catering!
Both families were so kind and wonderful. Steph and Matt, you guys both just got an amazing set of parents-in-law, siblings-in-law, and cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents-in-law! Everyone there was seriously SO NICE! But it’s no wonder, because clearly these two wonderful humans would come from wonderful families.
I am so excited for them to be starting the rest of their lives together! Guys, thanks for trusting me to be your photographer, and I can’t wait to see what amazing things you two do next! Best of luck out East! Love you guys.
Here are a few of my favorite images from their special day. We only had 15 minutes to get pictures of just the two of them outside, but you can’t even tell because these humans were so great to work with, and even with a tight timeline we got such a good variety of cute pictures!
