Last Saturday, I had an amazing time with the Jeffers family taking their photos at Photopia Studios in Cottonwood Heights!

The Jeffers are such amazing people! When we first moved to Logan, Utah they were actually the VERY FIRST people to introduce themselves to us at church. I was feeling very scared and lonely our first Sunday in a new place, but Krystal’s infectious smile and friendly manner put me at ease and made me feel so welcome! At the time, she was expecting a little baby, and that baby is now an adorable toddler named Asher! It’s crazy how quickly time flies! Now Asher is a big brother to Beckett, and MAN are they cute together, or what? He is such a good big brother, and I hear he is very helpful and even has his own nickname for his brother – Baby Bucket. SO CUTE!

Krystal and I were also co-workers up in Logan, she threw me my baby shower, she came over to help us pack up our apartment when my baby was only a few days old and I was still crying every 30 minutes… She is just a genuine, amazing, wonderful person and I could write a whole blog post just about how amazing Krystal is, and all of the kind things that she and Colby have done for me and my family.

But back to their family pictures. I had never actually taken pictures in a studio before, so this was a first for me! Krystal and Colby trusted me, and I am so glad that we chose to do these at Photopia! Photopia Studios has three different bays, but we stayed in the natural light bay for all of these. I can’t wait to go back and try them all, use more of their awesome props, and experiment more with studio lighting!

Here are a few of my favorites from their session, but it was so hard not to just post ALL OF THEM! They all turned out SO cute! I love this adorable family! So happy for them to now be a family of four!
